Many smartphone users are now using Google News to know the current happenings of the world. The Google News and Google Discover feed shows happenings of around the world in the app.
However, there are some things we are not interested in or don’t want to see it on the newsfeed. In the Google News app, there are two main sections for news: For you and Headlines.

On the other hand, the ‘For you’ section displays contents that Google thinks that you’re interested in as per your previous searches or choices. Google searches, article views, and other factors contribute to the algorithm that displays news articles tailored for you.
Most of the time, it shows what we are interest in while some other times, news sources and articles pop up that just don’t interest you at all.
So, to avoid getting articles that you don’t want to see, you can customize Google News to show articles that you like.
If you want the Google news to show you contents that grabs your interest and you want to read more content like it then customize Google News with some easy steps.
Those who have Pixel 6 or 6 Pro, they might have enabled a Google Discover. You can also customize your newsfeed from Google Discover. Follow the steps below to train Google discover to display you articles you that you like and less of topics that you don’t like.
You can also block certain sources from displaying content in your Google News feed completely. You can do this from Google Discover or the Google News app.
