“The ability to dream.” That is what London Supply Group President Teddy Taratuty praised as the company marks its 80th anniversary.
London Supply was founded by Don José ‘Pepe’ Taratuty in 1942 as a maritime supplier. Today, the company employs more than 1,080 people and has business including duty free shops, free trade zones and wholesale distribution.
Its locations include Puerto Iguazú, Río Grande and Duty Free Shops Atlántico Sur in Ushuaia.
Reflecting on the company’s milestone, Taratuty said: “Today is a very special day for all of us at London Supply Group. On a day like today, 80 years ago, Don José ‘Pepe’ Taratuty ventured to take the first steps to build the enterprise that would later become the business group we all know.
“With the legacy of his clear vision, his resolute determination and the distinctive values of a family company, we continued to grow and shape that which Pepe once dared to dream.

“Today, 80 years of history later, we are more confident than ever that a company’s most important capital is the ability to dream. On behalf of all of us who are part of this big family, thank you for continuing to help us reach our dreams.”
