SEO Reporter Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Globe Boss Digital Marketing Agency, Hampton Square, West Cabra, Dublin, Ireland ("Globe Boss", "we", "us") covering your use of the SEO Reporter desktop application (the application).

By installing or using the application you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install it. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company. Our privacy policy forms part of this agreement.

The Short Version

You buy a licence to use the application. You do not buy the application itself.
One licence activates on one computer. You can move it to a replacement machine.
Try it free for 14 days before paying. Buy only if it works for you.
Reports you generate belong to you. Use them with clients however you like.
Don't copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the software.

What Your Licence Allows

Subject to payment and to these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the application for your own business purposes.

Connect as many Google Analytics and Search Console properties as you wish
Produce reports for as many clients as you wish, at no additional charge per client
Apply your own branding to reports and supply them to your clients
Charge your clients for the reporting work you carry out using the application

The reports you generate, and the data in them, are yours. We claim no rights over them.

Licences And Activation

A licence is issued to one named user and activates on one computer. Licences are verified offline, so activation does not require the application to contact us.

If you replace or rebuild your computer, email us and we will reissue your licence for the new machine. If more than one person needs to use the application, buy a licence for each. Multi-seat and agency licences are available — contact us for terms.

Free Trial

The application runs in full for 14 days from first launch without payment, so you can test it against your own accounts before deciding. When the trial ends, the application stops generating reports until a licence is entered. Data already stored on your computer is not deleted.

One trial per user. Reinstalling to restart the trial is a breach of these terms.

What You May Not Do

Copy, distribute, sublicense, rent, resell or host the application for others to use
Share, publish or resell your licence key
Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the application, except where law expressly permits it
Remove, alter or bypass the licensing, or circumvent any technical restriction
Use the application to access Google accounts you have no authorisation to access
Present the application itself as your own product, or offer it as a service to third parties

Applying your branding to the reports is permitted and expected. Applying your branding to the application and distributing it is not.

Ownership

The application, its source code, design and documentation remain the property of Globe Boss. This agreement grants a licence to use it and transfers no ownership.

Google Accounts And Third-Party Services

The application reads data from Google Analytics and Google Search Console using your own Google account and read-only permissions. You are responsible for holding valid authorisation to access every account and property you connect, including your clients' accounts.

Your use of Google's services remains governed by Google's own terms. We do not control Google's APIs. If Google changes, restricts, deprecates or withdraws an API, features of the application that depend on it may change or stop working, and that is not a defect in the application.

Google enforces quotas on API requests. Heavy use across many properties may reach those quotas, and the application may need to wait before fetching more data.

The Optional AI Advisor

The application includes an optional AI advisor. It is switched off until you enable it and enter your own API key for a provider you choose.

If you enable it, you are contracting directly with that provider. You pay their charges, you accept their terms, and their handling of the data sent to them is governed by their policies, not ours. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing, output or data practices.

Check this against your client agreements. Enabling the AI advisor sends report figures from your machine to the provider you selected. If your contracts restrict sending client data to third parties, leave the feature off or configure a locally hosted model.

AI-written commentary is a draft for you to review. You are responsible for what you send to a client. Check it against the underlying figures before it goes out.

Your Responsibilities

Keep your licence key and your computer secure
Hold the authorisation you need to access every account you connect
Handle any client data the application stores on your computer in line with your own obligations to those clients and with data protection law
Take your own backups — data is stored on your machine and we hold no copy to restore
Review reports before sending them to clients

Updates And Support

An active licence includes updates and email support. Updates are downloaded only when you accept the prompt; the application does not replace itself without asking.

Support is by email to info@globeboss.com, answered within one working day. Support covers the application itself. It does not cover SEO consultancy, interpreting your data, or fixing problems inside your Google accounts.

We may add, change or remove features between versions. We will not remove a major feature you rely on without notice in the release notes.

Payment, Renewal And Refunds

Prices are shown at the point of purchase and include or exclude VAT as stated there. Payment is due in full before a licence is issued.

Where a licence is sold on an annual term, it continues to work for that term. Renewal is optional and not automatic. If you do not renew, the version you hold keeps working; you stop receiving updates and support.

Refunds

The 14-day trial exists so you can confirm the application suits you before paying. If the application is faulty or materially fails to work as described and we cannot resolve it, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full.

If you are buying as a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Where you ask for the licence to be issued immediately, you agree that supply begins at once and you acknowledge that you lose that withdrawal right once the licence has been issued. The refund commitment above still applies.

No Guarantee Of Results

The application reports on data supplied by Google. It does not influence rankings, traffic or revenue, and we make no representation that using it will improve any of them. Figures shown are as accurate as the data Google returns, which Google may sample, anonymise, restate or revise.

Except as set out in these terms and to the extent permitted by law, the application is provided as is, without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing here limits statutory rights you hold as a consumer.

Limitation Of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or loss arising from decisions taken on the basis of a report.

Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the licence fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in this agreement excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending This Agreement

You may stop using the application at any time by uninstalling it.

We may terminate your licence if you breach these terms and do not put it right within 14 days of us asking you to. On termination you must stop using the application and remove it from your computers. Reports you have already produced remain yours.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms for new versions of the application. The date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Changes do not apply retrospectively to a licence you have already bought for its current term.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by Irish law, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the law of the country where you live.
